✨ Exciting Faculty Announcement – Maree White Joins as Senior Ballet Teacher ✨

We are delighted to share the exciting news that Maree White will be joining Ballet Academy Northside and Sydney College of Dance as Principal Ballet Teacher, commencing in Term 2.

Maree brings with her an extraordinary legacy—twenty years of international stage experience as a professional ballerina, alongside more than thirty-five years in the ballet industry. Her celebrated career has taken her to many of the world’s most iconic stages, performing in cultural capitals such as London, New York, Beijing, and Vienna.
After receiving a prestigious scholarship to the Vienna State Opera Ballet School, Maree went on to perform as a Principal and Leading Soloist with some of the world’s most esteemed ballet companies, including the Vienna State Opera Ballet, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Queensland Ballet, and The Royal New Zealand Ballet. Her repertoire spans many of the classical masterpieces, and she has had the privilege of working with renowned international choreographers across contemporary and modern works.

Maree is deeply passionate about passing on her wealth of knowledge to the next generation of dancers. She is widely respected as a master teacher of classical ballet, known for her ability to identify and refine the core elements that help each dancer reach their highest potential. Her approach is nurturing, precise, and focused on drawing out both technical excellence and authentic artistry.

We are incredibly honoured to welcome Maree to our teaching faculty. Her knowledge, passion, and global perspective will be an invaluable addition to our community. We look forward to the inspiration and expertise she will share with our students in the years ahead.
